Making Waves of Change, One Beach at a Time.
Did You Know…
New Jersey is covered with over 130 miles of beach and coastline areas, ranking it among the top states in terms of beach tourism and the number of visitors to its beaches.
Last Year New Jersey documented a record breaking 48 million visitors to its beaches last year!
Unfortunately all this tourism comes with a cost. Last year during New Jersey’s annual beach sweep, over 510,000 pieces of garbage and litter were recorded, with this number increasing each year.
